Janis Pipars is a professional photographer for over twenty years. Having trained in cinematography and photography at The Latvian Academy of Culture, Janis photos published in Time Europe, U.S. News & World Report, NZZ Folio Magazine and on the cover of The New York Times. Janis skills in documentary and portrait photography led to commissions as a Film stills photographer in the TV and film industry, now the focus of his work. Recent credits include Disney / Freeform TV series “What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding”, The Good Neighbour, MTV Myyrä – Finnish reality television show, WarHunt, Meklējiet sievieti!, additional stills for Emīlija. Latvijas preses karaliene, additional stills for Kalev, TV series Survive for Quibi, What Silent Gerda Knows for Nida Filma, additional stills for The Blizzard of Souls and Baltic Tribes. Janis confidently captures unit still photography and behind the scenes that represent the character of each unique production.
